Rotating wheels in direct mail pieces have always suffered from that central hub grommet – eliminating a machine-insert option, getting in the way of creative and pushing up costs. Grand & Toy challenged us to come up with a way to re-invent the wheel – but without the grommet.
Our 1-pass print, glue and assemble solution allows for all the functionality of a wheel without a grommet. Not only are costs and timelines reduced, the piece is more environmentally friendly without the non-biodegradable metal grommet.
