Challenge

Client was very happy with the creative as it was, but the lead times were far too long. It was taking over 6 weeks from the time target data was received for the finished piece to land in the recipient’s mailbox. Our mandate was to figure out how to cut the production cycle time while maintaining the personalized ads that appear in the magazine based on the user’s Aeroplan purchasing history.

Solution

By cutting the number of production steps from 12 to 4, Innovative cut production time to less than 3 weeks (>50% cut) and in doing so also reduced the cost of the program.
